  2. Damn it! You beat me to him!

My FAVORITE Aldo Ray film is The Marrying Kind - he was so young and so drop dead adorable.

His son, Eric DaRe showed up on Twin Peaks as the muderous truck driver married to Madchen Amick's SHELLY!

Aldo Ray deserved much better. He should have top billing. Whoever managed his career did him wrong.

  4. AND Aldo also enjoyed his time with other men in a manly fashion and attended a number of extremely exclusive "pool parties" in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. He was a close friend of George Nader and was known to travel in the same circles as Mr. Hudson and Mr. Hunter. The idea of this will no doubt send Norma off again I'm sure...

  5. Norma, its no story. Ray was easily one of the most "accessible" beefcake stars in Hollywood during the era, but did prefer "Fish" to "Beef"...

  6. thanks for the info cookie.....why the hell couldn't i have been a movie mogul in 1951? i can just imagine the pillow i would've placed on the sofa so that aldo's ass would've been just the right height. of course, i would've given him any role he wanted....a very democratic mogul, i.

  7. I have an old magazine from the 70's that shows Ray's manhood and Norma has all the reason to let it loose...

  8. He was so cuddly and burly and strong and gentle all at once. Underrated talent. And, yes, I love him in The Marrying Kind with Miss Judy Holliday. Battle Cry, too. The problem with The Naked and the Dead was that he wasn't naked! lol

  9. I spent a night with Aldo back in the 1970s. We both had a little too much beer but he was very sweet and definitely the daddy type. He could be a bit frisky which caused me to toss him off the bed. I called him the next day and he said he was OK.

    Douglas....
