It's a Guy Thing

With the rumor mill furiously spinning stories of Madge and Guy's imminent divorce, let us take a moment to stop and acknowledge the fact that he is one fine hunk o' British beef.

  1. Except according to her brother he wouldn't like you. Or me. Or any poofters!

  2. Ooh, rough married trade. I may swoon.

Christopher Ciccone's book is on my short list of must-reads this summer, I'm sad to admit.

  3. Being her brother I think he is entitled to tell his tale.
May I borrow it when your done?
    Add it to my list?

  4. Anyone who knows me well also knows that I don't believe in family loyalty and devotion for its own sake: just because you're related doesn't mean you have to like or love that person. I abhor the idea of being *obligated* to love someone! But profiting by airing dirty family laundry is, I think, a really scuzzy thing to do. It also pretty much closes the door on ever mending your differences, so I hope Ms. Ciccone (Christopher, not Mrs. Ritchie) profited *well* from his tale, because I'm sure Madge pretty much has written him off for good.

Having said that, I can't wait to read the damn thing.

  6. You know I'll read it too! Madge is no fun now that she's lost her sense of humor. I was living in London back when Guy got exposed as a rich boy doing the "Mockney."

  7. Ooh, when did you live in London? I lurrrrvvvv London. The last time I was there was in 2004 (I think??? Gawd, getting older sucks...); I found a Miu Miu blazer for a song at Harrod's (a switch from the usual sticker shock in London), and had a fling with someone who, appropriately enough to my other post, looked rather like John Slattery!

    It was a good trip.

  8. Not so sure, Madonna loves publicity.
And she does have a new CD about to drop. And it's a good way to cancel her debt to Chris. They say she is tight with a nickel. And that she can snatch a coin off a table with her...Did I say snatch?
